Denn eigentlich heißt die Sorte “Gute Graue”, aber sie sieht der Judenbirne zum Verwechseln ähnlich. Weißt du vielleicht, wie alt dieses Exemplar ist? Ich schätze sie auf 70 bis 80 Jahre. Damit ist sie ein stiller Zeitzeuge, der schon viel erlebt hat. Das sieht man an den groben Verletzungen im Stamm. Trotzdem hat die Birne als Einzige der alten Streuobstwiese bis heute durchgehalten - und bringt jedes Jahr bis zu 80 Kilo Birnen. Außerdem markiert sie das Ende des Grundstücks und gibt den Blick in die Landschaft frei. Kannst du die Himmelsrichtung bestimmen, in der sie steht?

Do you know how old this tree is? I estimate it to be 70 or 80 years old. With that it is a contemporary witness that has experienced a lot. You can see this by the wounds in the trunk. Nevertheless the ,,Judenbirne” with 80 kilo pear per year has survived as the only tree until now. In addition to that it closes the area and opens the view to the landscape. Can you identify the cardinal point that is standing on.
